Racism in America Today
Racism was more deeply enculturated in the late fifties, …. “Excuse me, Miss, but don’t you all serve colored people in this place?” …..”Do you really not know there ain’t anyplace around here you and me can sit down in together? This is Maryland, man. It’s segregated.”…. there were still “White Only” signs on some drinking fountains. It was embarrassing.
